Keep these tips in mind as you enjoy the convenience of technology:
- Never click on a link in the body of an unsolicited e-mail from what appears to be a financial institution. If you do click on such a link and are asked for any personal identification information, do not provide it! Report the site to info@lgfcu.org or e-mail a secure message via MemberConnect to the Call Center.
- LGFCU will never use e-mail to request your credit union username, password, PIN or any other personal identification information related to your accounts! Discard any e-mail you receive that asks for this type of information.
- Type the Web site in your address bar to make sure you go to the correct site instead of clicking on a link.
- Look for a padlock icon or https: address to identify secure sites and if you do click on a link from the body of an e-mail, check for these identifiers when you arrive at the site.
